This allows you to include an executable file, for example, the SuperDAT executable file, that will automatically run after installation. Figure 3-13. When the file name appears in the File name box, click Open. The display returns to the Run Program After Installation panel, with the file name and its path appearing in the box. In the Program parameters box, enter any command-line parameters that will define the ways in which you want the executable to run. For example, type /F to force updating of the SuperDAT file or /S to run the SuperDAT file silently. The Create New Installer File panel appears (Figure 3-15). The system is ready to create the new customized . MSI installer file based on the selections you have made. You can specify the name and path of the new . MSI file, which can be used as a template for creating additional customization patterns. Figure 3-15. Create New Installer File panel Click Browse to select a location for the new . MSI file. Ë IMPORTANT: If your operating system is set to hide extensions for known file types, and you click Browse to select a file, the . MSI extension will not appear in the file name box. The . MSI file that you distribute with the custom software must include the . MSI extension. When you have finished specifying the name and path of the new .
